2011 NeSmith Storm Camaro

It must be muscle car day as this is the third one we have featured and the second special Chevrolet Camaro revealed by GM Performance Parts. This one is called the NeSmith Storm Camaro and was developed in cooperation with Georgia’s NeSmith Chevrolet dealer. It’s actually even more impressive than the HTR-SS454 Camaro featured earlier and we thought that was our dream Camaro. Oh how things can quickly change.
The new Storm Camaro replaces the original LS3 engine with Corvette ZR1’s LS9 engine. Packed in the ZR1, the LS9 engine developed a total of 638 HP, but in the Camaro the engine has been updated to deliver an impressive 700 HP (an amazing number if you take under consideration that the Camaro SS only produces 422 HP).
Next to this impressive power upgrade, the Storm Camaro also gets complementing drivetrain parts, including stronger axles and a Baer brake system featuring six-piston calipers, front and rear. And then there’s the obligatory black exterior color to match the incredible nature of the vehicle, plus the two while stripes as seen on the DeNooyer HT-SS454 Camaro from earlier. All we need now is the car’s price and we’ll be ready to place our order!
