2012 Mercedes CLS AMG by Wheels and More

Some may remember the stark contrast of black and white used to set the original Mercedes E55 AMG apart from the pack. The black leather with white inserts and a swatch of white on the steering wheel gave the car an aggressive attitude. Wheels and More has taken the latest Mercedes CLS AMG and brought back some of that original flair, but this tuning company has added several tasteful components to make this one of the first tuned CLS models in the world.

To complement the bold white exterior, three piece black alloy wheels were added. These are the newest version of the 6Sporz model and they measure 9.5 x 20 in the front and 11 x 20 in the rear. That large wheel is backed up with some serious rubber from Dunlop; namely 255/30/20 Sportmaxx’s in the front and 305/25/20 Sportmaxx’s at the back. These huge patches of rubber should help keep this CLS glued tightly to the road.

Wheels and More also felt that a few styling and aerodynamic pieces needed to be added. A front spoiler, small rear diffuser, and trunk lip were added and finished in carbon fiber to make sure they stand out. The new CLS is already a stunning car with muscular lines and a powerful figure, but the additions made by Wheels and More help to distinguish this specific car from all the others.

The new 5.5-liter turbocharged engine produces a monstrous 525 horsepower in standard form after leaving the AMG factory in Affalterbach, but this number must have seemed modest to Wheels and More because they opted to include a new ECU with revised mapping and a valve controlled exhaust system bringing the horsepower tally to 580. To increase the performance style handling and ride of the CLS, the tuner also added adjustable springs in the front and adjustable air suspension in the rear all developed in collaboration with KW.

Pricing has not yet been released for these upgrades and the new 2012 CLS is just becoming available. Rest assured that when your new Mercedes hits the showroom floor that Wheels and More will be available for all your aftermarket desires.
